We are working with an international Renewable Energy business looking for a highly-capable Senior Financial Controller to join their Finance team in London. The successful candidate will work in close partnership with the CFO and be responsible for all elements of financial control & reporting as well as leading the management accounts team.

Description
The Senior Financial Controller will be a key member of the Finance Leadership Group, working closely with the CFO and other areas such as FP&A, Tax & Treasury. The successful candidate will lead a team and be responsible for providing 'best in class' financial control & reporting metrics as the business expands internationally. Responsibilities will include:
- Manage and oversee all elements of financial control, reporting and management accounts
- Work closely with JV partners & operational teams to produce relevant financial reports and results for analysis
- Maintain and enhance existing accounting methods, policies, and principles, including further development of ERP reporting tools and processes
- Prepare and review balance sheet account reports, analysis and reconciliations for all UK/International entities
- Further develop the finance team by guiding and leading in a supportive and inclusive manner
- Work closely with the FP&A team to develop and enhance annual budgets and monthly forecasts
Profile
We are looking for an experienced team leader, comfortable managing financial control & reporting processes in an international business environment. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills & attributes:
- A qualified Accountant (ACA,ACCA,CIMA)
- Proven working experience as a Financial Controller in Energy/Renewables or a related sector
- Advanced knowledge of technical/reporting standards, controls and reporting requirements
- Proven ability to lead, support and develop a finance team
- Experience of working closely with both finance and non-finance/operational leadership teams to drive business growth
