Senior Housing Options Officer

 We are looking for a confident, experienced senior officer who will lead a team of Housing Options Officers to delivery excellent results for residents.  You will be determined to break down barriers in order to find creative and innovative solutions to complex issues, that will prevent vulnerable households from becoming homeless. You will have the opportunity to use homeless legislation, policy and procedure to make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable people.

Job Title & Hours: Senior Housing Options Officer, Cannock Chase District Council and Stafford Borough Council Shared Services 

Grade & Salary: Grade H

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Management experience in a similar role
• Excellent practical knowledge of homelessness legislation
• Ability to motivate team members and support them in finding creative solutions to challenging issues
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Experience of building and maintaining partnerships
