Senior Hr Advisor

We are currently working on behalf of one of the premier global businesses within the engineering and manufacturing sectors who pride themselves on their culture and engagement with employees. They have facilities across the UK and have one of the most recognisable brands in the industry they operate in.
They are currently looking for a people centric Senior HR Advisor to join their team who will be working on a number of generalist activities and advise line managers on topics such as training and development, recruitment and employment legislation as well as administrating a range of HR processes governed by the UK and continental Europe team.
Role and responsibilities of a HR Advisor:

• Be the initial point of contact for any HR queries and offer guidance on all employee relations matters.
• Multi task dealing with a variation of employee queries.
• Maintaining a high level of administration, ensuring HR records are up to date.
• Assist with grievance, disciplinary and appeal meetings.
• Offer HR support to other UK based sites when required.
• Ensuring adherence to company policies, corporate principles and practices.

Skills required to be successful in this HR Advisor Role:.

• Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• CIPD qualification or working towards.
• Strong decision making skills
• Ability to work under pressure & multi task
• Strong IT skills including the use of; Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

The package for this HR Advisor role includes

• Basic salary of GBP38,000 - GBP42,000 depending on experience.
• Working week Monday Friday 8.30am 5pm (Flexibility offered around this) & hybrid working.
• 5% Bonus
• 33 days holiday
• 10% pension- 5% employee and 5% employer contribution
• Company funded life assurance of 3 times your annual salary (for scheme members)
• Access discounted Health Benefits Scheme.
