Senior Internal Sales

Senior Internal Sales required. Our client is a well established lighting manufacturer that has been designing, manufacturing and distributing high quality, energy efficient lighting product for over 20 years, providing a vast range of internal and external luminaires for the commercial sector or bespoke products to suit clients' requirements. They are now looking for someone to join the Internal Sales team due to the growth of the business.

Senior Internal Sales Position Overview

• Communicating with customers to understand their needs and requirements and identify sales opportunities.
• Answering customers' questions, resolving their concerns and providing additional information via calls and emails.
• Building up quotes with support from technical and production department as required.
• Explaining the basic features of our range on the phone when requested
• Processing orders on to sage and producing reports on sage when required.
• Chasing down old project quotes which are past their close initial date.
• Creating product and project-based quotes, including system design and take-offs.
• Working with Technical department provide customers with solution design (driver /led board allocation).
• Ensure and track that the Internal Sales department respond to all enquiries in a timely manner.
• Processing of orders ensuring customer is updated on order progress as required.
• Ensure that the Internal Sales department Chase up with the customer all old Quotes and update status /timing on ACT CRM.
• Keeping ACT CRM up to date.
• Create basic /copying existing BOM and part no.'s as required on Sage.
• Liaise with all key departments (Purchasing, Credit control, Production, Design, technical, dispatch) to ensure order /enquiries are responded in a timely manner.
• Answer Incoming phone calls if Internal sales team are busy or unavailable.
• Raising proformas.
• Occasionally be available to attend client sites.
• Provide input into marketing on Website alterations/corrections as required.
• Liaise with suppliers on pricing and technical requirements with support of purchasing team as required.
• Represent Internal Sales in department managers meetings.
• Providing professional front facing response to all customers requirements.
• To attend and fully participate in training and appraisal activities as required.

Senior Internal Sales Position Requirements

• 3+ years' experience in the same role and industry (internal and external lighting)

Senior Internal Sales Position Remuneration

• Salary: £25,000- £30,000 potentially negotiable depending on experience
• Working Hours: 8am- 5pm
• Holiday Package: 20 days + 8BH + Christmas Shutdown.
