The successful candidate will operate as a Senior Surveillance and Investigations Officer within the London Organised Crime Partnership (OCP).
The OCP is a joint NCA and Metropolitan Police team focussed on countering the threat posed by drug trafficking and related money laundering. In 2024 the OCP celebrates 20 years since its creation and demonstrates the effectiveness of the partnership between Metropolitan Police and NCA.
The OCP is made up of NCA and MPS officers, candidates will be required to demonstrate flexibility in their working patterns, there is a published rota which includes weekend working and it is common to need to work extended and unsocial hours for which overtime and on call payments may be available.
Candidates will be required to work alongside Metropolitan Police Service colleagues in support of operational, tactical and strategic objectives, through interaction with other NCA departments and teams, and also with external partners. Excellent decision making, communication and team working skills are required.
Successful candidates will need to engage with stakeholders and customers at all levels, developing strong working relationships and working in close collaboration with internal and external partners to identify opportunities which drive NCA and partnership activity in response to the highest harm threats.
