We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Investment Administrator to join the Investment Operations Team on a full-time, permanent basis, working within a busy team of 8 in the delivery of the investment administration and fund accounting requirements.

As a Senior Investment Administrator, you’ll oversee the work of the Investment Administrator team by authorising, guiding and providing advice on investment-related activities in accordance with policies and procedures to meet statutory, regulatory and group requirements and standards.

Accuracy is key to this role as you’ll also be responsible for processing complex and technical investment transactions.
You’ll be the primary escalation point for internal and external stakeholders, equipped to investigate and either resolve queries with brokers and custodians to avoid fails and breaches, and ensure accurate and complete settlement.
This position is a varied, interesting and challenging role. It will bring exposure to the Stock Market and an insight into Investments at NFU Mutual.

The working hours for this role are 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

This role is based in our Tiddington Head Office, just outside Stratford-Upon-Avon. Varied and challenging, the role is a great introduction to Investment Operations, with the expectation you’ll obtain the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI) Investment Operations Certificate (IOC) within 12 months of joining.

You’ll be resilient, with strong attention to detail given the high values and volumes you’ll be working with, and the ability to manage conflicting and changing demands. You’ll be Excel confident, with great analytic skills and confident in decision making. You’ll also welcome the opportunity to coach and develop more junior members of the team. Having an interest in Investments would be desirable.

To be considered for this role it is essential you have:
• Strong numeracy skills with a GCSE in Maths C / 5 or above (or equivalent).
• Good IT skills including excel
• Excellent organisational skills
• Be a confident and clear communicator, able to engage and work with senior internal stakeholders.
• You will be supported in a team where tasks are rotated, full training is provided and processes are in place to ensure you are supported.
