SalaryMy Client has an outstanding opportunity for a Senior IT Support Engineer to join their team in Bristol. This role would suit someone with experience providing 1st and 2nd line support in a multi-site environment supporting networks, servers & storage, as well as being confident dealing with escalations from the helpdesk both remotely and in person. An interest in IT Projects, Infrastructure support, and experience mentoring juniors is highly desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain predominantly Windows 2012-2019 servers.
Install, manage/maintain the network, as well as network performance monitoring and tuning - VLANS, HP, Cisco switching.
Identify, install, and maintain upgrades to the physical and virtual infrastructure (desirable)
Oversee security of the on-premise and cloud services, in line with Safeguarding and GDPR policies - Firewalls, Sophos AV, Email gateways & Cloud Backup
Support development and management of the Trust's Office 365- SharePoint, Teams, Exchange etc.
Oversee other IT-related infrastructures including but not limited to, servers, switches, firewalls, telephones, CCTV, Access Management
