Senior Lawyer LPI (Employment)Grade A - £52,737 (National Framework) or £58,139 (London Framework - if you are London office based or homebased and live within the boundary of the M25). There is also an additional homeworking allowance of £553 per annum for those working from home.Contracted Hours: Full time 37 hours per weekContract Type: PermanentLocation: We can offer office based working from our Leeds or Stratford offices. We can also offer home working. To do so, we work with a variety of networks, including the Disability Equality Network, Race Equality Network and LGBT+ Equality Network.We are now looking for a Senior Lawyer to join us on a full-time, permanent basis.Why this could be a great role for you This is a fantastic opportunity for a practising Solicitor or Barrister with an excellent grasp of employment law and a superb leadership style to join our important organisation.You will discover plenty of professional growth opportunities, allowing you to develop your skillset and expand your portfolio of experience with our national organisation.What you will bring To be considered as a Senior Lawyer, you will need:- To be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, entitled to practise in England and Wales - Post-qualification experience - Experience of drafting written legal advice and legal documents with the ability to present complex information in an accessible format- Advocacy skills and experience in the Tribunals - A detailed theoretical and applied knowledge of the law and procedures governing employment law- Strong management and leadership skillsWhat you'll be doingAs a Senior Lawyer, you will advise and support our organisation with matters of employment law.Overseeing all employment law matters at CQC, you will manage a team of legal professionals, providing advice and leading on litigation and related work that arises out of HR and employment law matters.You will also be involved in providing advice arising from our operational activities.
