Senior Management Accountant

Absolute Recruit is partnered with an acquisitive private equity backed business with over 60 sites located around the UK who are recruiting a Senior Management Accountant.
Following several acquisitions in recent years and being purchased by a private equity firm our client is looking to add to their finance team. Based on the outskirts of Birmingham the company has great transport links (5 minutes' walk from the station) and parking onsite.
Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts for multiple entities
• Managing and upkeep of systems and processes
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and analysis
• Creation of monthly MI and KPI reporting to analysis performance
• Assist the Financial Controller in interpreting the P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow implications on the commercial performance
• Assist with group consolidation and acquisition accounting

To be considered for the role you will be/have:

• Strong academics (desirable)
• Qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
• Experience in industry is preferred but candidates coming from practice with accounts prep will also be considered.
• Experience of using Sage 200 (desirable)
