Senior Management Accountant

Senior Management Accountant | Chester | £50,000 - £60,000

An opportunity to join an established UK business supported by a larger Global group function based in Chester. Reporting into the UK Finance Manager, you will have a broad range of responsibilities, primarily overseeing the production of monthly management information to distributed within the UK.

Other duties include;

• Day to day management of a team of 3
• Ownership of UK balance sheet
• Production of monthly management accounts
• Responsibility for quarterly VAT returns
• Monthly accruals & prepayments
• Annual budget preparation
• Weekly cash flow forecasting
• Detailed variance analysis with commentary
• Assist with statutory reporting

Candidate profile;

• CIMA/ACCA Finalist/Newly Qualified preferred
• Strong management accounting background
• Good commercial acumen
• Prior staff management advantageous but not essential
• Strong technical knowledge
• Excellent communicator
