Position Summary
Reporting to the VP of Enterprise IT Operations, The IT OperationsSenior Manager is responsible for the hands on oversight of workstreams relating to Systems, Security and Network support for the UK and Europe. This person will be tasked with supporting the current technology ecosystem and making recommendations which future-proof the IT model to support long term business growth. Having worked in a similar industry, the IT OperationsSenior Manager will have the knowledge and experience to further develop the Support function of IT Ops while also working closely with UK/EU Business Units that have hybrid systems environments. In close collaboration with the IT Operations team globally, the IT Operations Senior manager will act as the IT Ops representative for UK/EU ensuring that the Enterprise IT objectives and goals are met, while ensuring the specific requirements of UK/EU Business units are captured, planned for and delivered as part of the Enterprise IT Operational Planning.
This person will be responsible for leading a small team of regionally-based, first line support engineers tasked with supporting approximately 200 employees across the UK
Role & Responsibilities
- Own the IT Operations Support for Metrea’s UK/EU Systems, Security and Infrastructure requirements Develop the Systems & network support capabilities across all offices in UK and EU Contribute to the negotiation of all 3rd party contractual agreements Support in all IT compliance certifications and standards for UK/EU Collaborate with other specialist IT teams across the business Management of first/second line support team, providing mentorship and feedback in order to grow capability within the function
