WORKING PATTERN:Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in an office site
About this opportunity:
This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead the Supplier Management team for Group Finance under the Finance COO within Group Finance Support (GFS) & Finance Data Analytics Office (FDAO). You'll build strong and long-lasting relationships with suppliers, we’re enabling the Group to stay ahead of the competition and better serve its customers. We're creating a centralised Finance Supplier Management team that has a real passion for Supplier Management.
Joining the Finance Supplier Management team provides an opportunity to lead the centralisation of the Supplier Management function for Group Finance. The role will focus on embedding the Supplier Management Framework, treatment standards and key controls and play a role in crafting the Team for the future. This role provides a great opportunity to lead and develop the supplier and risk management skills of colleagues within the team.
The Senior Manager in this team will be expected to lead, implement and embed the group-wide supply chain management strategy for the business area in line with Divisional objectives. You'll have a deep understanding of business strategic requirements and build strong and long-lasting partnerships, utilising data to identify trends, and driving performance quality and continuous improvement to maximise value and manage risk in the supply chain.
GFS & FDAO operates in a team culture and you'll be expected to work effectively as part of the wider team, collaborating to solve problems and sharing knowledge. GFS & FDAO are a key function within the Finance community of LBG. We’re a team of 550 colleagues, with responsibilities including financial and regulatory reporting and control, risk & control, data, people and culture initiatives and strategy implementation.
The roles and responsibilities will extend to:
  • You'll lead in transitioning to a centralised supplier manager model, assisting in the transfer of activity to a centralised team under the Finance COO
  • Play a key role in leading Group Finance suppliers to deliver maximum value to Lloyds Banking Group.
  • Shape and deliver the Finance Supplier Management strategy, driving business strategic requirements and building partnerships with senior internal and external stakeholders
  • You'll be responsible for overseeing the active management of suppliers in line with the policy framework.
  • By utilising data to identify trends, you'll help shape continuous improvements to maximise value and efficiency, while minimising risk in our supply chain.
  • Act as a source of expertise with your suppliers, providing professional advice to key partners and colleagues
  • Work closely with our risk partners to facilitate risk management of suppliers under 1RCSA (the Group’s Risk Management system).
  • Actively participate in the broader leadership within the GFS & FDAO extended leadership team co-ordinate and deliver a broad range of activities that focus on how Group Finance as a function handles its Supplier landscape and overall Group Finance Risk.

What you'll need:
  • Extensive experience of working with suppliers / 3rd parties with the ability to deliver results with accountability
  • A passion for understanding our suppliers and a desire to collaborate with our stakeholders to enhance their understanding of Supplier Management landscape and framework
  • An understanding of processes & practices relating to the Groups Supply Chain Framework
  • Experience of Group Sourcing
  • An understanding and awareness of Cyber, operational resilience, data privacy, technology, and cloud policies
  • Have a track record of motivating your Team and delivering within the LBG values and behaviours
  • The ability to both challenge and support Senior stakeholders by delivering effective Business Partnering.
