Senior Marketing Campaigns Officer - Fixed Term 12 Months - Maternity Cover

My client within Higher Education is seeking a Senior Marketing Campaigns Officer, with a strong background in marketing, and/or communications. If you possess excellent audience awareness, the ability to craft compelling copy, and have an innovative approach to Marketing Campaigns, this is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to our university’s student recruitment success. Day to Day of the role:

• Collaborate with the Head of Marketing Operations to develop and deliver the acquisitions marketing & recruitment strategy and annual plans, focusing on maximising home and international undergraduate and postgraduate student recruitment.
• Innovate and create campaigns that effectively attract students to the university.
• Work in partnership with other marketing and recruitment teams within the Directorate to ensure cohesive strategies across the student recruitment funnel.
• Commission and utilise key market and competitor intelligence with the Market Insight team to inform and adapt acquisition activities in response to changing customer behaviour.
• Implement a robust KPI tracking process, regularly report on performance, and take action to ensure value for money and a strong return on investment.
• Engage and collaborate with colleagues across the University, central teams, and Divisional stakeholders to ensure the success of all campaign work.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Degree level education or equivalent.
• Membership of the Chartered Institute of Marketing/Chartered Institute of Public Relations or equivalent professional qualification in marketing or communications.
• Proven senior-level experience in a marketing or communications role.
• Demonstrable experience in planning and executing successful campaigns aligned with marketing and recruitment strategies.
• Strong understanding and experience with both digital and traditional marketing practices.
