St Andrew’s First Aid is Scotland’s dedicated first aid charity and leading first aid training provider. We believe no one should suffer or die because they needed first aid and didn’t get it.

Our mission is to raise awareness of the importance of first aid skills through first aid event cover, first aid training courses and first aid education within schools and communities across Scotland.

Senior Marketing Executive - The Role:

The Senior Marketing Executive supports the Head of Marketing, Communications and Fundraising and is a key member of the Marketing team, providing marketing for the commercial and charity divisions of St Andrew’s First Aid.

Duties will include:

• Manage the St Andrew’s First Aid website, updating information and visuals as necessary
• Produce high quality, effective marketing campaigns to ensure awareness of our charity mission, events, and fundraising needs.
• Produce engaging digital campaigns to ensure our products and training courses are profitable.
• Measure and produce statistical management reports on ROI and other KPIs.
• Lead the development and production of successful online marketing campaigns across social media, email marketing, PPC and SEO.
• Lead and project manage traditional marketing campaigns including all marketing materials and literature.
• Produce and develop engaging content for all internal and external marketing communications.
• Achieve, monitor, and report on marketing income and expenditure budgets.
• Work with the wider team to achieve charity and commercial objectives.
• Manage the Google Ads account
• Analyse Sales and Marketing data to develop data driven marketing

Other duties deemed reasonably necessary for the effective running of the organisation

Senior Marketing Executive - The Candidate:

• Degree qualification with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• A strong understanding of all marketing principles.
• Experience of writing and delivering creative marketing campaigns.
• Experience of implementing marketing campaigns using tools such as Mailchimp, Spotler, Google Ads, paid social media, CMS and Google Analytics.
• Strong understanding of paid social media (Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter advertising).
• Experience using Canva and similar others.
• Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills.
• Knowledge of Woo Commerce.
