Senior Events Planning Manager required by a leading 5 Star Hotel in Central London to run a number of Medium and Large Scale high profile corporate events. Salary to 60K + bonus + benefits, location Mayfair, London.
Ideally we are seeking a seasoned Event and Conference Planning Manager, Events Director or Events Director with previous experience working within a large Luxury Hotel environment (minimum 4* but ideally 5*) with experience of end to end M&E Planning and Event Operations Management.
Scope
The property offers around 30 meeting rooms and 2 large conference and banqueting suites that host a variety of both small and large scale events.
As the Meeting and Events Planning Director you will oversee all Meeting and Event Operations and the successful delivery of all Events to include managing around 10 direct reports.
This is an all encompassing role with end to end "hands on" responsibility for planning and delivering a best in class Meeting and Events service for the Hotel.
Desirable
- Strong end to end M&E, Events Planning and or Events Director experience at a similar luxury Hotel (essential).
- Experience in delivering both small and large scale high profile Events
- In depth knowledge of all areas of Event planning and delivery
- Relevant degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality or Events (advantageous)
- Strong team leadership and people management experience.
- In depth knowledge of health, safety and compliance in relation to M&E services.
