Full car and motorcycle licence is mandatory.
Must be presentable, articulate, numerate, literate, and able to deal professionally with people from all walks of society. Must be very comfortable working with modern IT systems.
Should have enthusiasm for motorcycles. Should have good exam results at minimum of Scottish Higher Grade level or equivalent.
The ideal candidate would have a strong interest in motorcycles and motors, have some work experience, preferably in a managerial position with supervision of others, probably in the motor industry and experience with or a strong aptitude for sales. Additionally very desirable would be a strong practical and theoretical understanding of IT systems generally, including all manner of computer and communications hardware as well as software, and the ability to manage and maintain such systems.
Duties will include all aspects of Motorcycle Sales, whether dealing with customers or managing used and new stock, and administration of online adverts. Managing all stages in the sale of and advertising of stock, and also assisting in the preparation of motorcycles for sale. Includes organising promotions, copy and advert writing, online and print. Additionally, managing a small team of sales personnel and personnel matters in general, dealing with training, discipline, hiring etc. Candidates with ability and experience in maintaining and specifying all manner of software and hardware IT systems will especially welcome.
This job will be based at our Cupar branch.
