Job:Senior People Manager
Salary: £45,000-£50,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Hybrid: This is a hybrid role primarily based from home with the potential to travel to operational meetings and our head office based in Kings Hill, Kent. If you’d prefer to work from an office more regularly please let us know and we’ll see what we can do.

Job summary
As our Senior People Manager, you'll deliver a first-class People strategy that serves the needs of our teams and ambitions of our business. You'll act as a trusted advisor for our line managers and support them with a wide range of people related policies and procedures whilst developing and nurturing company culture and helping to embed our people-led values.
Core Responsibilities
- Be a trusted business partner, providing managers with advice and guidance on a wide variety of people related matters.
- Lead on HR response to employee relations investigations and absence cases.
- Oversee HRIS Reporting for partnering meetings and wider business unit performance meetings, ensuring data is used to its full potential when it comes to performance, data, and reporting.
- Help to create, maintain and update relevant People related policies and procedures.
- Support and lead on implementation of our new HRIS.
- Supporting the Director of People, Talent & Learning with the delivery of a high-quality people strategy.
- Provide day-today support to the Head of People with wider M&A and complex change management processes.
- Support our VIBE (Valuing Inclusion Belonging & Equity) programme and champion initiatives across the business.
- Development and knowledge building regarding people processes in the wider people, talent & learning teams.
Personal Specification
- Strong experience working in a similar role in an HR environment
- You'll be looking to develop your proven HR experience and have a desire to learn more and develop your senior HR career.
- You'll have extensive generalist HR experience and knowledge, ideally gained within the healthcare, consultancy or IT sectors.
- You'll have excellent knowledge of UK employment legislation and best practice and be comfortable advising and steering others to follow this.
- Strong proven experience supporting line managers with ER issues, including investigations, grievances and disciplinary procedures.
- You'll be confident in maintaining and updating people related policies and benefits.
- A positive mindset with a can-do attitude and a keen eye for detail and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly establish credibility, and build strong working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- CIPD Level 5 would be advantageous.
