Senior People Partner, (South)

As a People Partner at Wingstop UK, you will be the cornerstone of our commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture. Reporting directly to the Head of People, you will serve as a strategic partner to both our employees and management team, driving initiatives that support employee engagement, talent development, organisational effectiveness and the overarching success of Wingstop UK.


Main duties and responsibilities

Strategic Success

·      Translate business requirements in partnership with senior managers into effective HR practices to deliver and embed people solutions aligned to business objectives.

·      Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies to attract top talent.

·      Monthly people analysis & people mapping input to scope for growth and identify areas needing support

·      Stay attuned to relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance with legal requirements. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that promote fairness, equality, and diversity within the workplace.

·      Hold and own your section of the overarching People Team strategy and execute.

·      Collaborate with your fellow People Partner (North) to develop and execute strategic HR initiatives that align with the company's goals and objectives & work together to identify areas for improvement and develop action planning.

Employee Relations

·      Partnering with General, District & Regional Managers to ensure that all HR queries & ER issues are dealt with appropriately and in a timely manner.

·      Own, evolve & deliver training and education of ER practices and deliver on a needs-based basis for all management levels.

·      Foster a culture of open communication and collaboration within the organisation.

·      Proactively identify knowledge gaps, propose and implement changes necessary to ways of working or negate risk

·      Working with the Head of People to formulate the People Strategy & working diligently to deliver all aspects within the plan.

Analysis

·      Utilise HR data and analytics to identify trends and insights that inform strategic decision-making.

·      Generate regular reports on key HR metrics, such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and diversity metrics.

·      Display a tenacious approach to analysing site results by getting into the detail of all reports.

·      Uses data to monitor and report on key performance indicators; identifying trends and implications for the business and to propose and recommend appropriate interventions.

To be considered…

  • CIPD Level 5 or above
  • A people first mindset, a strong work ethic and a passion to drive results
  • Functional HR experience within the hospitality industry
  • Experience of UK HR with practical hands-on experience in UK employment law
  • Experience to deliver effective & engaging training
  • Ability to influence & drive people success
  • A strong self-motivator and be comfortable with WFH and also travel when required to support your stores (option to work at Head office available)
  • Excellent communication & organisational skills
  • A structured, consistent approach to work & an eye for detail
  • Experience in a fast growing QSR brand desirable but not essential
