As the Senior Manager of Human Resources – Strategic Programmes, you will play a pivotal role in directing the strategic planning process and coordination of the GB HR team priorities. Reporting directly to the Vice President, People & Culture, GB, and joining the GB HR senior team members, you will have the opportunity to shape and drive the HR plans for GB.
In this influential role, you will be at the forefront of driving HR excellence by:
- Directing and facilitating the GB HR priorities, ensuring effective alignment across the organisation, and escalating key decisions to the P&C VP and senior peers.
- Supporting the end-to-end Annual Business Planning by coordinating activities and key milestones for GB HR priorities.
- Creating the overall HR project plan, defining responsibilities, tracking progress, and ensuring successful delivery of the GB HR priorities.
- Managing the budget for the GB HR department, working with budget owners on phasing and alignment of headcount changes to budget tracking.
- Directing the workforce planning 3-year plan, tracking workforce trends at a GB level, and ensuring local capability to set local plans linked to Inclusion, Diversity & Equity strategies and future population needs.
- Spearheading the development of impactful messaging and strategic content for senior stakeholder communications.
- Preparing high-level papers and presentations on HR priorities, providing data analysis and recommendations.
- Supporting the GB HR senior team members with periodic scorecard analysis against people priorities and identifying areas of improvement.
- Nurturing stakeholder relationships and effectively communicating and engaging across all levels in HR.

This includes supporting the coordination and implementation of key HR events, working on ad-hoc strategic and organisational projects, and proactively following up on jointly defined actions in HR Leadership Team routines. Your expertise and insights will be instrumental in driving the success of the GB HR senior leadership team during key communication points.
Preferred Experience:
To thrive in this role, you should bring a wealth of HR experience with project management, business planning, and senior stakeholder management. Previous experience as a Senior HR Business Partner in a fast-paced FMCG or retail environment is highly desirable.
