Senior Producer - Breakfast

Talk Today, TalkTV’s breakfast TV show, hosted by Jeremy Kyle and Nicola Thorp has a dynamic mix of news and views, broadcast daily from 6am to 9.30am from state-of-the-art TV studios in The News Building at London Bridge Monday - Friday discussing the issues that really matter to the nation.
TalkTV delivers a bold voice in current affairs, debate and opinion available on linear TV, online and on the TalkTV mobile app.
Your role: As the Breakfast Senior Producer, you will play a pivotal role in the production of our morning show, responsible for overseeing all aspects of content creation, from concept development to on-air execution.
Day to day you will:
Lead the planning, development, and execution of daily breakfast show segments, ensuring they align with the overall vision and objectives of Talk TV.
Collaborate closely with the show's hosts, producers, directors, and production staff to generate innovative and compelling ideas for segments, interviews, and features.
Manage a team of producers, researchers, and production assistants, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure the successful implementation of all elements of the breakfast show.
Coordinate with various departments, including editorial, graphics, and technical operations, to ensure seamless integration of content and technical elements into the broadcast.
Oversee the booking of guests, experts, and contributors for interviews and features, maintaining relationships with key contacts in the industry.
Stay abreast of current events, cultural trends, and audience preferences to inform content decisions and ensure the breakfast show remains relevant and engaging.
What we’re looking for from you:
Experience in television production, with a focus on live programming.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Organisational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
A creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and an understanding of what makes compelling television.
Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt quickly to changing priorities and circumstances.
Proficiency in production software and tools, including but not limited to, video editing software, rundown management systems, and production planning tools.
