We are seeking a Senior Product Engineer to play a vital role in building and maintaining scalable custom applications that enhance our products for consumers, clients, and employees. Utilize your expertise in product development and engineering, leveraging PHP/Laravel Nova to ensure exceptional system architecture, security, and reliability. Collaborate closely with marketing and design teams and make valuable contributions to our project success. This is a remote position. You would need to be available within our core working hours of 0900 – 1200 EST to ensure sufficient cross-over with the team.
\uD83D\uDCC6 A day in the life
\uD83C\uDFE2 Lead the development and maintenance of custom applications / features as a Senior Product Engineer.
\uD83D\uDD0D Engage in end-to-end development processes, including requirements gathering, coding, testing, and deployment. Review open pull requests, provide feedback, and follow up on active conversations in the pursuit of learning, teaching, and delivering a high quality product.
\uD83E\uDDE0 Utilize expertise in software engineering and database architecture, particularly in PHP/Laravel Nova, Vue 3, and MySQL.
\uD83D\uDE80 Collaborate closely with other teams to ensure product usability, performance, security, and reliability.
\uD83D\uDC1E Monitor real-time errors, prioritize, and promptly address unhandled exceptions.
Who you are ❗\uD83D\uDD0D
\uD83C\uDF93 You are a SENIOR level engineer fluent in building and maintaining custom applications.
\uD83D\uDE80 Previous experience in product development on a team or experience developing your own products.
\uD83D\uDDC4️ Expertise in database architecture, PHP, Laravel ecosystem (Nova, Vapor, Forge, etc.), AWS, distributed and concurrent application architecture.
\uD83D\uDCC8 Understanding of when to prioritize building things correctly versus building them quickly.
\uD83D\uDCA1 Proactive problem solver with ability to identify and address technical architecture challenges.
\uD83D\uDCDA Interest or experience in AI and model training.
\uD83E\uDDE0 Commitment to personal growth and continuous self-development.
\uD83D\uDCAC Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
