Key Responsibilities:
Reinsurance Accounting:
- Manage and oversee reinsurance contract accounting.
- Set up treaties and facultative contracts in a specialised system aligning to the placement team
- Analyse financial reports related to reinsurance activities.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of ceded reinsurance accounts for global financial standards.
Your Impact:
- Shape future growth by contributing to a robust financial framework.
- Implement closing calendar and controls for ceded reinsurance operations.
- Collaborate with the Head of RI Accounting on a daily basis, contributing and business partnering with various functions of the business
Qualifications & Skills:
- Qualified Accountant (ICAEW, ACCA, or CIMA) with post-qualification experience.
- Experience in the Accounting Department of a P&C insurance or reinsurance company.
- Knowledge/experience with specialised reinsurance systems; SQL knowledge preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
