One of my prominent SAAS clients who specialise in providing innovative Workforce management solutions for a variety of businesses, is seeking an experienced, motivated and dynamic Sales and Account Manager to help spearhead the business in developing and maintaining relationships with clients, driving Sales and ensuring thorough client satisfaction at all times. This position will also involve identifying new business opportunities, managing and growing existing accounts, along with meeting sales targets. You will also be collaborating with internal teams to deliver on solutions in line with their needs.
Responsibilities
Client relationship management:
- Building and nurturing strong client relationships with clients to ensure their needs and preferences are fully understood., as well as serving as their main point of contact for any concerns, inquiries, or requests.
- Conducting regular check-ins to ensure they are satisfied, along with identifying areas for improvement.
- Anticipating client needs and proactively offer solutions to enhance their experiences.
Sales development:
- Identifying new business opportunities, through researching potential clients and industries.
- Generate leads through networking, cold calling, as well as other sales strategies.
- Developing and presenting proposals to potential clients, with a focus on highlighting the value proposition of products or services.
- Helping to negotiate contracts and agreement terms to close sales deals.
Account management:
- Managing existing client accounts through understanding business objectives, along with developing strategies to meet their goals.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure their needs are fully met. This includes marketing and product development.
- Monitoring sales metrics and tracking progress against sales targets.
- Preparing regular reports and updates on account status and sales activities.
- Managing their key/largest accounts.
Customer service:
- Providing exceptional customer service on a consistent basis - regularly addressing client inquiries and promptly resolving issues.
- Act as an advocate for clients within the organisation, prioritisting and meeting their needs.
- Seeking feedback from clients to continuously improve products, services and processes.
Market research and analysis:
- Staying informed about industry trends, market conditions and competitor activities.
- Conducting market research to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Analysing sales data and customer feedback to make informed business decisions.
Requirements
- Have a software development background. Workforce management experience is desirable but not essential.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience managing a small team.
- Have excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Able to multitask and effectively prioritise tasks.
- Be proficient in CRM software alongside Microsoft Office suite.
- Have similar proven experience within sales, account management, or similar position.
- Demonstrable ability to meet sales targets and quotas.
- Periodic travel to meet clients or attend industry events.
- An analytical thinker and problem solver.
- Have excellent time management skills.
