ROLE: Senior Software Engineer - Java
LOCATION: Remote (UK)
CLEARANCE: SC eligible

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Java development and a strong understanding of backend, frontend, data, and DevOps technologies. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing high-quality software solutions using Java and related technologies.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Troubleshooting and debugging issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency.
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in software development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Significant experience with Java development.
• Proficiency in backend technologies such as Node.js, Java Spring, Python, and C#.
• Experience with frontend technologies such as React, Typescript, Angular, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of data technologies including PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, and Apache Cassandra.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as AWS, Kubernetes, Azure, Jenkins, Docker, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Certifications in relevant technologies.
