We are a busy independent restaurant on the border of Ancoats and the Northern Quarter. We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to assist the Head Chef/Owner to continue to develop and produce our food and menus.
All our food is prepared on site (we make all our own soft cheeses, sausages and black pudding, we have our own small smoker outside the unit). Fresh fish and seafood feature heavily on the menu, complemented by seasonal game.
This is a great opportunity for a creative Sous Chef who wants to work with fresh ingredients and learn new techniques. The day to day role will involve prepping menu items, running a busy section during service and keeping up with relevant daily/weekly paperwork.
The successful candidate must be comfortable working in an open, customer facing kitchen.
We are offering a competitive rate of pay and an equal share of tips (£125+ per week on average) for all services worked. This will be a 45 hour working week, working 5 days per week.

Pay: £30,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
