About the role
Coventry Building Society have an exciting senior professional role in our Head of Practice team, for a Senior Specialist - CIDO Operational Efficiency. The role will support the ‘Head of Practice’ in the effective management of Operational Efficiency across the CIDO function.
The role will work collaboratively with CIDO Senior Leadership Team, Finance and Procurement Business Partners, and business stakeholders to define, communicate, implement, and measure operational and cost management strategies, controls and spend optimisation plans. The outcomes of these strategies will input into the Technology strategic planning and budgeting process, which will be reviewed by the CIDO Senior Leadership Team.
This role will work closely with CIDO Senior Leadership Team, Finance and Procurement Business Partners, to support and drive day-to-day stakeholder accountability to meet key financial and operational targets against the agreed CIDO Operations Efficiency Roadmap and Technology Strategy. Being accountable for developing, coordinating, and maintaining a robust process for assessing the financial and Operational Efficiency opportunities enabled through new supplier contracts and contract renewals and then coordinating activity with cost centre owners within and beyond CIDO to execute and realise benefits.

About you

You’ll have a strong Operational background and the ability to influence at all levels preferably within Technology and Financial Services environments, with financial, data analysis and commercial acumen with the ability to gather and analyse internal and external data from a wide range of sources to drive commercial insight and data driven decisions.
You’ll be passionate about ensuring the business delivers a great customer service and experience. Seeking to understand how decisions affect the end user and asking question to gain insight into the customer perspective and experience.
