We have a fantastic opportunity at our Residential service in Dereham, Norfolk, as we look for our next Team Leader! This is a Permanent contract, working 30 hours per week, Sense are offering Team Leaders £11.90 per hour.

We support 5 individuals in each of our homes. Each individual is provided with care and support tailored to their individual needs, be that complex communication needs, physical health conditions, multi-sensory impairments.

As the Team Leader, you will be required to complete administration tasks and help lead the team of Support Workers with the support from the manager.

We take particular pride in the range of activities and wellbeing events we provide. You will often find yourself out on offsite activities, day trips and holidays. Some examples of community activities include Horse Riding, bowling, swimming and music lessons. Your role would also include personal care, medication administration and a small amount of manual handling (hoisting) where necessary.

The shift patterns will vary and can include Mornings, Evenings, Weekends and Sleep-ins.

This role in Dereham, Norfolk might include:

  • Supporting individuals / groups / teams within the home, centre and community.
  • Providing a customised, responsive and high quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments, physical and/or learning disabilities who use Sense services.
  • Delivering services which meet or exceed organisational expectations and standards.

For this role you will require:

  • Previous experience as a Support Worker or Team Leader in a similar setting is desirable– we’re happy to work with you to help you become an excellent Team Leader.
