This role has a starting salary of £27,897 per annum, based on a 36-hour working week.
We are excited to be hiring a new Senior Team Administrator to join our fantastic Secretariat team based in Reigate. This team is our centre of excellence for meeting support and note taking and who arrange multi-agency panels to discuss care packages and costings for children and young people.
This is a 12-month fixed term/secondment opportunity.

About the Team
The Children, Families and Learning directorate provides a range of highly specialist services to vulnerable children and young people. Services are delivered directly to children and their families, within extensive statutory frameworks, and staff working in these areas needing specialist knowledge in order to deliver effective services to these high risk and high need groups.
This role is based within our outstanding business support service, which underpins the work of the frontline practitioners. This role will work closely with senior management, supporting them with the information required to help them make decisions on the placement of care packages for our looked after children.
About the Role
As a Senior Team Administrator your role will be to:
- Plan and organise the panels, liaising with professionals both within Social Care and external agencies
- Keeping track of information
- Updating and maintaining spreadsheets and databases
- Taking meeting notes and subsequently distributing to involved parties
- Ensuring timescales are met
- Providing performance information.
- This varied and interesting role is based in our Reigate office within our exemplary business support service. The role is offered on a hybrid-working basis with the expectation that you will be in the office at least two days a week.
Shortlisting Criteria
To be considered for shortlisting for this position, your application will clearly evidence the following:
- Evidence of efficient and accurate note taking skills using a laptop
- A solid background in administration, and experience of working in a busy office environment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Being confident, organised, and able to implement a proactive approach to your work
- Excellent IT skills and proficient in using Microsoft Office.
- Excellent interpersonal skills are essential along with a high level of written and oral communication skills.
You will have experience of working with highly confidential information in a customer focused environment and have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. You will be highly organised and willing to take responsibility, as well as using initiative.
