Salary An award-winning developer is actively seeking a Senior Technical Coordinator to be in control of design processes from planning application through to project completion.
This developer has gone from strength to strength over the past 10 years, becoming a sought-after builder within the industry. They have a consistent pipeline of work in London and require a strong Senior Technical Coordinator to join them on a major development in West London.
Senior Technical Coordinator Responsibilities:
* You will be responsible for coordinating all technical information between external consultants and internal departments throughout the construction process.
* You will ensure all approvals are obtained and information received and issued to allow for a prompt start on site.
* Control the design process, from planning application through to project completion.
* Ensure consultants prepare detailed designs in accordance with our client’s specifications and standards.
* Manage and review the design development process ensuring value engineering and buildability are considered.
* Ensure timely registration with warranty providers i.e. NHBC, robust details, and building regulation application.
* Manage CDM including the preparation, approval, and distribution of the Health and Safety File/Operating and Maintenance Manuals.
* Ensure timely completion and the issue of technical assessments, Energy & Sustainability information, warranties, and certificates.
* Review design development to allow the construction of works to follow safe working practices and be in accordance with current legislation, Group Policy, and Procedures.
* Provide Production teams with complete working drawing packages and technical support to Site Management and Sub-Contractors with details and site queries about all technical issues.
* Provide fully checked and coordinated design packages for Budget, Tender, and Construction purposes to implement and comply with our clients SHE policy and procedures, all legal requirements, and best practices within the business unit and areas.
Senior Technical Coordinator Requirements:
* Have residential sector experience, including working within large-scale projects.
* Able to travel on occasion and as required, to other work locations.
* Openness and willingness to broaden and enhance knowledge and understanding.
* Commitment to standards.
* Attention to detail.
