Senior Test Manager

Acorn by Synergie is working with a leading Public Sector body who are on a significant Digital Transformation company-wide, to find a Senior Test Manager to join a growing Testing function.

The successful candidate will lead a team of testers who have collective responsibility for all cross-service testing from a primarily functional perspective, but also responsibility for operational acceptance testing and disaster recovery testing.
You will have the opportunity to define and set the test strategy for delivery / programmes of work and be part of one of the largest digital transformations currently underway in the public sector, working on moving from on-prem to cloud based technology.
Key experience:

• Understanding of Enterprise scale systems and the roles of different types of testing play in ensuring they operate to an excellent standard
• Line management experience leading technical teams
• Experience of working with mainstream test automation frameworks such as Serenity, Selenium, Cucumber/Gherkin
• Demonstrable experience of working with large cross service programmes or Transformation programmes.
• Experience with modern delivery models such as Scrum and Agile.
• Experience of working within an Azure DevOps environment.
