Sandwell Youth Service are looking for an 18.5-hour Senior Youth Worker to be based within the Smethwick and Oldbury team.
We are particularly looking for someone with an interest and background in youth work or working with young people. The role will require you to lead the work, support the detached teams and work with young people in open spaces and organise programmes to support their engagement, participation, and development.

Requirements:
Previous experience of working with young people and willingness to obtain qualifications in youth work as prescribed by management .
A good attendance record - Candidates should have less than 3 absences in the last 6 months or not more than 6 days absence over the 6 months period prior to the closing date of the post. Any absences relating to a disability or any other incapacity will be viewed sympathetically and will be considered if fully explained. Should any candidate not meet these criteria and choose to include an explanation then this will be considered.
You will also be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check.
Hours
18.5 hours per week
