This position is Monday to Friday only, with the exception of some Saturday mornings during the peak season.
Strong administrative experience is essential for this position, with the ability to prioritise and organise work effectively. Any technical knowledge of machines workings is highly beneficial, but not required.
Duties of the Service Advisor:
- Booking in vehicles and machines for servicing and repairs
- Planning around times for customers and technicians availability
- Liaising with the parts department to ensure availability for work to be carried out
- Liaising with the workshop and technicians
- Informing customers of job progression and expected completion
- Explaining works to customers as needed
- Responding to enquiries over the phone and email
- Producing job cards, invoices, and all relevant information to complete the jobs
Experience of the Service Advisor:
- Some technical knowledge of machinery and vehicles
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
- Previous administration experience is essential
- Ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
