The role:
As a Service & Technical Operator, you will be driving to customer sites to deliver, transfer and uplift Blue Mountain Refreshment machines on behalf of the company. You will be maintaining the machines, (replacing parts, servicing, cleaning, brand standard checking), for which training will be given. The role is on the road as well as time at Head Office with the Blue Mountain team and the machine lock-up.
Main Responsibilities:
Deliveries & Collections
- Ensuring machines are clean and fault free before leaving site.
- Collection and deliveries of vending equipment.
- Accurate recording of information required in the management system
- Reporting of any customer feedback.
- Communicating with client to arrange deliveries and collections.
- Understanding the manufacturing process, set up of all BMR equipment and be able to use methods in problem solving.
- Offer technical support over the telephone/email.
- Complete first line vending machine maintenance support.
- Report any issues and completion of any service tasks to head office before leaving site.
- Carrying out of planned and unplanned maintenance.
- Site surveys
- Keep up to date with changing equipment/technologies.
- Support the BMR team with Client Events
- Ensure equipment and supplies are available for the event.
- Check your vehicle is load safely, and securely to ensure items remain free from damage.
- Ensure company vehicle is clean, tidy and report any issues immediately.
- Immediately report any vehicle damage.
- Direct customer contact and must be experienced at dealing with customers and third parties and be responsible for presenting our company professionally to customers
- Daily organisation and time management including maintaining and prioritising own schedule are key to this role.
- Be able and willing to work away from home to support the maintenance in our national customer coverage.
- Must have a full clean driving license
- Ability to converse with customers/suppliers clearly and politely
- Presentable with an air of confidence
- Availability to travel around the UK
- The want to learn as training will be provided and so being interested in maintaining machines help
- Physically able to lift and move machines
- Happy to work alone although there is team that can be contacted
