Service Charge Officer

Location- Basingstoke
Pay- £27-£35k p/a
Hybrid- 2 days in office, 3 at home
Summary & Role

Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a leading, very well known brand based in Basingstoke.  Our client is seeking to recruit a Service Charge Officer on a Fixed Term Contract basis.  Your role will be heavily excel based and involve a lot of reconciliation work.
Your role will involve you working as part of a team of ten and Your responsibilities will include:

• Calculating and preparing estimated Service Charge budgets for properties in your designated area, and issuing accurate statements to customers

• Annual reconciliation of Service Charge accounts against estimates, calculating and applying balancing adjustments accurately, and informing customers

• Collating and analysing a variety of data, checking for accuracy and completeness and exploring any anomalies

• Providing a great customer-focused service, being the first point of contact for customers, providing understanding and resolutions to complex queries and disputes, either over the phone or in writing

You'll be the first point of contact for Service Charge queries from customers, using your problem solving and analytical skills to understand and resolve complex queries, whilst ensuring a positive customer experience.
