My client, London’s leading fully co-educational school, is seeking to appoint an exceptional Service Delivery Manager to join an outstanding IT Team. Working closely with the Director of IT to deliver operational IT service, embed policy and procedure, and act as technical escalation point across the school, as they embark on a new and exciting expansion of digital technologies.
The school is a high user of IT and relies heavily on the tech to work. The successful candidate is expected to be able to demonstrate excellent inter-personal skills, communicate clearly relevant technical material, and to have and continue to develop relevant technical skills and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing team of at least 5 staff – a strong manager with solid experience of managing a diverse team, managing the team & performance & resource planning.
- Service Management/Delivery – managing a busy helpdesk with ITIL experience (1st, 2nd & 3rd line activities) along with Change Management.
- Managing minor projects including device refresh and office moves.
- Ownership of end user devices (Windows, Apple devices as well as Chromebooks).
- Technical experience of managing Google Workspace (admin), Office 365 (admin), Apple solutions including JAMF.
- Experience in a school or similar environment (nice to have).
