The Company:
Lorien are working in partnership with a global outsourcing provider who are committed to delivering exceptional IT services to our clients. With a focus on innovation and continuous improvement, we are seeking a Service Delivery Manager to join their team in Altrincham.
About the Role:
A new position for my client, the Service Delivery Manager, will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall service desk operations. You will lead initiatives to improve processes, implement new technologies, and drive efficiency gains across the entire infrastructure operations estate.
Responsibilities:

• Lead the service desk team in providing exceptional support, ensuring timely resolution of issues
• Identify areas for improvement within the service desk operations and develop strategies to enhance Service Delivery
• Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to streamline processes and optimise efficiency
• Collaborate with several teams to implement new technologies and tools, such as Freshdesk/Zendesk, to improve service desk efficiency
• Monitor KPIs and SLAs to ensure targets are met or exceeded

Skill Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Service Delivery or IT management role, with a strong focus on process improvement and technology implementation
• Knowledge of service desk management tools such as (Freshdesk/Zendesk)
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Excellent communication skills across varied stakeholders
