ICT Servicedesk Analyst

The ICT Department are looking to recruit 4 x Servicedesk Analysts (2 x Fulltime, 2 x Part time) to contribute to the running of day-to-day operations of the ICT Servicedesk.
This exciting new opportunity offers the successful candidates the chance to assist in the provision of the ICT Servicedesk users throughout Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS).
The successful applicant must be able to deliver duties and support services in a reliable, dependable manner always ensuring customer satisfaction.
Excellent communication skills are paramount as is the ability to assist ICT users in various technologies, which are deployed within the Service.
Essential qualities for this post include good team skills, ICT Technical knowledge, and the ability to work within a team and on your own if required.
The post requires education to diploma level, preferably in the ICT field or an equivalent level of knowledge. Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 is preferred.
The hours of work will be 37 hours per week for the fulltime posts and 18.75 hours per week for the parttime posts, over the below period;
Monday to Friday: 06:00 – 22:00

NHS Scotland is reducing their full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period, for which you would be paid, until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
