🛠 Role – Service Desk Analyst
Head Resourcing are delighted to be partnered with a long-standing Scottish law firm in their search for Service Desk Analyst in Edinburgh.
Reporting to the Head of IT, you will be part of the team who are the first point of contact for all IT requests and incidents in the firm. The role involves providing both 1st and 2nd line support for a wide range of areas and technologies including PCs, printers, applications, systems software, etc.
Location: Central Edinburgh office – please note, there is a requirement to be in the office on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
· Logging, prioritising, and tracking Service Desk calls
· Investigating, troubleshooting and resolving calls
· Providing updates to users on the status of calls
· Set up and management of user accounts
· Reviewing and releasing quarantined emails
· Supporting remote homeworker installations
· Creating and maintaining Service Desk documentation
· Technologies include: Dell Laptops, Windows 11, Microsoft Office 365, Two Factor authentication administration, IOS mobile devices and iManage document management software.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
· At least 1 years’ experience within IT Support or a Service Desk environment
· Strong all-round knowledge of IT
· Good communicator and have the ability to communicate with non-IT staff
· A proactive approach to system security.
