The Role
As the registered CQC manager you will be responsible for overseeing the operational day to day management of the service. You’ll lead the team in achieving and where possible improving the CQC rating, whilst ensuring the delivery of the highest quality person-centered care.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with best practice, legislation, Orwell policies, Safeguarding frameworks and CQC regulations.
- Monitor the commercial performance of the service and ensure the service operates effectively within agreed budgetary parameters.
- Support with housing management
- Ensure the highest quality person-centered care is delivered and ensure the care team receive specified training to deliver care safely and effectively.
- Ensure that all statutory safeguarding regulations are adhered to.
About you
Our ideal Service Manager will have:
- Proven record of leadership and developing and supporting a team.
- Experience of working with older persons, people living with dementia and end of life care.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with others inside and outside own area.
- Experience of managing budgets and housing management.

Person Specification
- GCSE Maths and English (grades A-C / 9-4 or equivalent)
- A full driving licence, is desirable
