Grade: JNC5-6 (unqualified) 7-10 (qualified Level 3 Youth work)
Working hours: 6 or 15 hours per week (regular evening and occasional weekend work is a requirement)

Salary: 6 hours post - £3,810 - £3,864 (JNC 5-6) / £3,912 - £4,272 (JNC 7-10)

15 hours post - £9,525 - £9,659 (JNC 5-6) / £9,779 - £10,679 (JNC 7-10)

Contract type: Permanent

Location: Based in different parts of Salford

The post-holder will deliver potentially deliver work in school, working with the detached youth work team and in the locality youth centres. Some sessions are daytimes, but most are evenings, typically 530-830 on weekday evenings, including Friday evenings.

Youth Work training is available FREE for these posts, which would include a Level 3 in Youth Work.

Please be aware that this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and that you will be required to meet the cost of the DBS check – currently £38.00. The payment for this will be deducted from your first four months’ salary payments at a rate of £9.50 per month. If you do not commence employment for any reason but the DBS has been processed, you will be sent an invoice for the payment of £38.00.
