THE COMPANY: We are currently working with a leading manufacturer, who are looking to recruit an experienced Shipping Coordinator to join their team.
This is a great opportunity to join a successful business, who have been well established in their industry for almost 50 years.

THE CANDIDATE: The right candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, as well as a strong knowledge of UK and European shipping regulations.
Experience within the manufacturing industry is beneficial, however training will be given.
DAILY DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Obtaining costs and quotes for each delivery.
- Negotiating rates with hauliers and freight forwarders.
- Communicating with various internal departments including the despatch and sales teams.
- Creating BOLs for all work orders.
- Identifying and resolving any issues prior to the goods leaving the business.
- Ensuring all paperwork is completely accurately.
- Ensuring freight costs are correct and added to the system.
- General ad hoc administration duties.
