Shipping/Logistics Administrator - Temp to Perm - Part-Time

Role:
- Purchasing; creation of purchase requisitions, tracking approvals, purchase order placement, tracking, receiving, managing inspection and payment approvals.
- Shipping; preparation of shipping requests and documentation, supporting requests through approval process, preparation of shipping documentation, placement of shipping orders and managing collection. Track delivery and maintain shipping records and returns.
- Logistics; Coordinate and communicate with planning and trade compliance staff in remote sites to support ordering and transfer of goods to and from overseas manufacturing sites.
- Record Keeping; Maintain shipping records and prepare annual export summaries.
- Reporting; Support engineering staff with reports and audits.
- Delivering a high level of service and being an integral part of the company to help meet objectives and deliver successful customer outcomes.
- Office administration; Support normal office functions such as calendar management, visitor planning, staff events, property rents, rates, expenses, other documented processes.
Requirements:
- Min 5 years of experience in a similar role in office management with experience in handling international shipments and logistics
- Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint & Teams)
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with a good eye for detail.
- Able to communicate effectively and confidently with internal & external clients & suppliers
- Must be self-motivated and a good team player
- Must demonstrate good time management and prioritisation skills
- Flexible and able to re-prioritise when necessary, able to work well in a time-sensitive environment
Salary:
£30,000 - £40,000 - this is a part-time temporary opportunity that will become permanent. It could also turn into a full-time role for the right candidate.
