We are delighted to be working again with St Catherine’s, Bramley - one of Surrey’s most recognised independent girl’s school. St Catherine’s are looking for a part-time (Mon-Friday 09.00 - 15.00) Data Assistant. This role will start at the beginning of the new academic year (September 24) working within a close knit team as the MIS Support assistant.
The role is anything but data entry - this position will be about empowering educators - supporting the students and ensuring the smooth running of a bright and vibrant school community.

The Work
• Update and maintain student and staff records.
• Enter assessment data accurately e.g., St Catherine’s Progress and Assessment Levels; Current Working Grades.
• Create and maintain reports. • To manage and develop the school report system and procedures.
• Ensure student review/report data is collected, collated and distributed in accordance with the school schedule.
• Create and manipulate excel spreadsheets.
• Collect, collate, analyse and evaluate information, ensuring accuracy of data, and produce reports and information as required for distribution to staff, parents and pupils.
• Undertake the administration of complex data procedures.
• Support the SIMs Manager in the analysis and presentation of data for staff.
• Maintain accuracy of data in SIMs including housekeeping routines
• Provide administrative and organisational support to other staff.
• Train and develop staff as appropriate in relation to data.
• Operate relevant equipment and complex ICT packages e.g., SIMs & EduLink
• Undertake appropriate tasks that support the reproduction of resources during peak periods
• Attend meetings and training sessions as required - Assist with the setting of cover, as required
• From time to time, help out with occasional cover lessons • Attend the Data Management Committee’s twice-termly meetings
