Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
- Manage and maintain site documentation, including permits, qualification matrixes, and safety records.
- Organize and update project files, ensuring all documents are accurate and accessible.
- Assist in preparing and distributing project-related correspondence, reports, and meeting minutes
Communication Coordination:
Serve as a central point of contact for site personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective communication channels between different parties involved in the construction process.
- Relay messages, instructions, and updates promptly and accurately to ensure smooth project progression.
Schedule Management:
Assist in the coordination of construction schedules, including monitoring progress and milestones.
- Maintain up-to-date calendars for site activities, meetings, deliveries, and inspections.
- Coordinate with project managers to anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts or delays.
Procurement and Inventory:
Assist in ordering and tracking materials, equipment, and supplies needed for construction activities.
- Maintain inventory records and reconcile discrepancies as necessary.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials to the site.
Health and Safety Compliance:
- Support the implementation of safety protocols and procedures on-site.
- Assist in maintaining safety records, conducting safety audits, and addressing any safety concerns promptly.
- Coordinate training sessions and ensure that all personnel are informed and compliant with safety regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience in administrative roles within the construction industry is advantageous.
- MUST have a valid and in-date CSCS or CPCS card in order to complete induction.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and procedures is desirable.
Shift:
Mon-Fri, 7:30-17:30pm
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: 14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
