T he Site Administrator is a key member of the Operations team supporting efficient and accurate processes and being the main point of contact both internally and externally for HR and payroll related duties for the Wakefield site.
The Site Administrator will be responsible for:
- Payroll
- Input all hours into the payroll spreadsheet
- Produce weekly timesheets and collate figures for monthly payroll templates to be processed (currently 15 staff and increasing to 60)
- Reconcile payslips against timesheets prior to giving final approval for payment
- Question anything outside of the normal range, working closely with colleagues to check and manage the data
- Update related reports from the payroll figures within agreed time scales for distribution to payroll provider and site managers.
- HR administration
- Process new starters including right to work checks and new starter documents
- Update site holiday tracker from approved holiday request forms
- Arrange investigation/disciplinary/grievance meetings when necessary and take accurate minutes
- Site administration
- General reports, processing of paperwork, organising and updating files and records
The ideal Site Administrator will be:
- Proven experience in a similar fast-paced warehouse environment with administration, payroll and HR administration
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to process large amounts of data and produce accurate reports
- Competent user of Excel, Sharepoint, Word, Emails and Teams
- Strong organisational skills
- Understanding of information flows
- Thrive on change and be open minded and adaptable to new ideas and ways of working.
- Accountable - Takes actions when goals aren’t met, monitoring the progress of key initiatives
- Conscientious - Reliable, honest and treats people with respect
- High level of confidentiality and discretion when dealing with all HR and payroll related matters
This role will suit an experienced Administrator who is organised and can introduce an efficient office administration system, to this small but growing site.
The company are moving sites from WF6 to WF10 at the end of February, so please consider this when applying.
Working hours will possible be 7am - 4pm or 8am - 5pm with an hour for lunch.
