Our client is a facilities services company, working predominantly in the production, transport, warehouse distribution and public sectors, and they are looking for an experienced Site Manager to manage the cleaning and recycling team at a site in Peterborough.

This position does require flexibility with hours. Facility services are provided 24/7 so you will need to be open to working hours in the evenings/early mornings and weekends when required.
Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring compliance with legislation, health and safety regulations and both company and client specification
- Providing leadership, support and Training to your team
- build robust and valuable partnerships with clients while being efficient and responsive to client and staff needs
- Ensure all team members are skilled, kitted and accredited to the highest standards
- Manages the performance and the continuous improvement of team members through development, recognition and effective communications
- Completing audits and regular standards checks
- In charge of managing stock levels and purchasing of equipment, materials and consumables to ensure a complete service delivery
- Manage direct reports performance against the business KPI's.
- Ensures hours delivery is within target by utilising teams & allocating resources effectively
- Responding to ad hoc requests from Regional Operations Manager
- To adhere to all company processes, policies and procedures
- General admin duties include but are not limited to: completing report, approving timesheets and creating schedules
This role would suit someone who has proven experience in providing excellent customer service and who can build strong and lasting relationships with staff and customers, as well as experience in successfully managing a team.
