Responsibilities: As a Site Manager for the Care Home Extension Scheme, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of the project. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and budget.
- Collaborating with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and clients, to ensure project objectives are met.
- Leading and motivating on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to deliver high-quality work.
- Monitoring and enforcing strict health and safety standards and quality control measures.
- Providing regular progress reports to senior management and clients.
- Overseeing construction activities to ensure compliance with building regulations and specifications.
- Identifying and resolving any challenges or issues that may arise during the construction process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on construction projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS card and SMSTS certification.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
