Site Manager

Randstad are currently seeking a Site Manager for a New Build Education scheme in Basingstoke, Hampshire. As a Site Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the construction site operations, managing subcontractors. coordinating resources, and ensuring the successful completion of the project on schedule. Working with a Tier 1 contractor, this is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to develop their knowledge and skills in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the construction site, including safety, quality, and progress monitoring.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring their adherence to project plans and specifications.
• Plan, organise, and manage resources, including labour, equipment, and materials, to achieve project milestones and objectives.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all workers on site.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Resolve any conflicts or disputes that may arise during construction, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on project timelines.

• SMSTS
• First Aid

• Scaffolding awareness
