SalaryA specialist civil engineering and utilities contractor is recruiting a Site Supervisor for projects in and around Portsmouth. The role will consist of supervising the day-to-day installation of new water pipes in urban and rural environments, keeping diaries, and ensuring the work is delivered safely and on time.
Ideally you will have experience of laying pipes (preferably water), managing several gangs and are computer literate. Each project will range in value and duration with most schemes around 250k - 550k and special project around 1m.
The role is a fantastic opportunity for someone to get off the tools and into a supervisor role.
Site Supervisor Duties include:
- Record progress by photographing work completed
- Assist with the planning of each project
- Ensure work is being completed in accordance to the RAMS
- Carry out site inductions and toolbox talks
- Lead by example promoting health, safety, quality and environment
- Complete site diary
