Responsibilities- Ensure overall demand forecast quality and consistency for MT and ST horizons for the Beverages / Snacks under his/her responsibility, representing the volume demand plan in the S&OP processes
- Represent unconstrained volume Demand forecast in iS&OP , ensuring overall demand forecast quality and consistency for MT horizons across all output levels of the respective channel
- Review and create the R&Os and scenarios in the iS&OP cycles for the Beverages / Snacks under his/her responsibility
- Collaborate with key functions - Commercialization, Sales, Marketing, DX, Insights, NRM, Finance - to enrich the driver-based forecast and identify R&Os for the Beverages / Snacks under his/her responsibility
- Responsible for translation of driver inputs from cross-functional partners into a unit / volume demand plan
- Responsible for KPI exceptions root causing and accountable for forecast accuracy and forecast value add metrics
- Reviews demand fluctuations, market insights, and R&Os to provide forecast scenarios
- Approves the load demand forecasting units (DFU) hierarchies and rules for aggregation / disaggregation for the Beverages / Snacks under his/her responsibility
- Review demand segmentation logic
- Approves the data feed to Demand Planning system – both historical and planned data for all internal and external demand drivers
- Develop driver-based monthly and weekly volume forecast
- Review and adjust driver-based monthly and weekly volume forecasts
- Identify volume gaps to AOP
- Receive sign-off on 5-24-month approved volume consensus plan
- Measure monthly volume demand plan performance
- Prepare the Root Cause Analysis and trigger Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives
- Experience in generating accurate MT and ST Demand Planning outputs and manage DP tools and organization at fast moving consumer goods, including advanced modelling, collaborative planning, demand sensing, promotions planning, new product introduction planning, demand shaping and demand scenarios management
- High level of credibility & business acumen is required, must be commercially savvy, with strong analytical skills. Strong understanding of the IBP processes, Demand Planning and forecasting.
- Ability to process and resolve complex issues, establish priorities and action plans across the value chain
- Would typically have a strong forecast ability, good understanding of category dynamics and a background with sound commercial, finance &supply chain understanding, including S&OE, S&OP and AOP experience.
- Hugely passionate advocate of the IBP process and its Demand Planning elements – ability to engage, build rapport & trusted among the IBP participants.
- Strong team player
- Self-starter capable of managing his/her own agenda within a complex, fast paced environment.
- Comfortable with process discipline and process adherence, but also able to identify and take opportunities to further develop and strengthen the process without compromising the end state
- 10 years of cross-functional experience at a middle to senior level within another FMCG company
- Skilled at time management and negotiation.
